Ashish Bordia | Founder

Ashish Bordia is the founder and Managing Member of Vihar Capital Management. He completed his undergraduate studies at IIT Bombay and holds an MS in Financial Mathematics from The University of Chicago. 

Prior to founding Vihar Capital Management, Ashish Bordia managed investments at Progressive Capital Management for 16 years. He is a staunch advocate of value investing principles and possesses a deep interest in personal finance.

 Vihar Capital Management focuses on investing in high-quality businesses that are perceived to have minimal downside risk and produce consistent cash flows. We aim to earn superior returns by making long-term investments in exceptional businesses that are undervalued relative to their future prospects. We focus on dominant businesses with sustainable competitive advantages, mission-focused cultures and long runways for profitable growth.

We recognize that flat account management fees can significantly diminish wealth over time. As such, we do not charge "qualified clients" any account management fees to invest their capital. Our compensation is performance-based, rewarded only when your account value exceeds a predefined threshold. We get paid only if your wealth increases satisfactorily over time. Our aim is to participate in your success without profiting at your expense. We value our client-aligned fee structure and the mutually beneficial relationship it creates. For those not meeting the "qualified client" criteria, we offer a flat account management fee option.
